Prairie Village
Madison

Situated on 120 acres, Prairie Village has over forty antique-filled buildings reliving the days of an active turn of the century main street. Visit the Lawrence Welk Opera House, sod house, log house, a small country school, a church and one of the last remaining chapel railroad cars, the “Emmanuel”.
The village is surrounded by two miles of track for the Prairie Village, Herman and Milwaukee Railroad. Stop by the Wentworth Depot and buy a ticket to ride one of our trains. The train runs on Sundays at 3:00. Check out one of America’s newest turntables and roundhouses in action.
Ride one of the world’s remaining steam-powered carousels. The 1893 Herschell Spillman steam carousel gives rides daily on its German-carved horses to the tune of great calliope music.
175 camping sites with electricity. A showerhouse and RV dumpstation are also available.
Open Mother’s Day weekend to Labor Day.
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10-5, Sunday 11-6
