Attractions along the I-29 Cultural Corridor include:
Sisseton Wahpeton College
Located near Sisseton, SD, it is home to "Song to the Great Spirit", an example of "sculptural architecture" which honors the history and traditions of the Native American Dakota people.
Redlin Art Center, Watertown.
The center houses a collection of over 150 of Terry Redlin's original oil paintings.
South Dakota Art Museum, Brookings.
The museum features collections of Harvey Dunn, Native American Art, Marghab Linen and Paul Goble.
South Dakota State Agricultural Heritage Museum, Brookings.
The museum tells the story of South Dakota's vast and varied agricultural past in the Farm Power gallery, South Dakota Made gallery, and the Life on the Land gallery.
Horse Barn Arts Center, Sioux Falls.
Built in the late 1800's, the Horse Barn Arts Center houses galleries in the former hayloft and on the main level. A gift shop occupies two of the former "stalls."
Siouxland Heritage Museums, Sioux Falls.
Old Courthouse Museum: exhibits, programs and special events housed in a restored 1800's quartzite building. Pettigrew Home & Museum: elegant 1889 Queen Anne style home of South Dakota's first senator.
The Outdoor Campus, Sioux Falls.
Tour a hands-on museum filled with wildlife mounts and a 3,000 gallon aquarium. Enjoy 2 miles of nature trails through the prairies and wetlands of the nature center.
