Springfield Recreation Area, (45 acres), is nestled along the shore with breathtaking views of the Missouri River. Adjacent to the park overlooking the river is a beautiful nine-hole golf course, and a bike trail connects the park to the town of Springfield.
Special feature: Adjacent nine-hole golf course overlooking the Missouri River, good base for waterfowl hunting in the fall.
Trails: Easy paved winding trails along the Missouri River. Connects to the town of Springfield.
Facilities: 20 campsites - 19 electrical, showers, dump station, 2 camping cabins, playground, picnic shelter, handicap access fishing dock, fish cleaning station, boat ramp. Entrance fee.
