Upon arrival you will receive a ticket for 12 samples of wine. Wine tasting tickets are available for $15.00 and includes a Great Dakota Wine Fest Logo Glass. Various South Dakota wineries are ready and waiting to pour you a tasting of their locally produced wines. There are wine specialists posted at every table ready to assist with food pairing suggestions and descriptions of the grapes and fruits grown locally. Participate in Home Wine Making Competitions, demonstrations, and Sangria on the balcony. Feel the pulp between your toes at the mini grape stomp. While stomping and enjoying the grapes you can have your picture taken and that photo can be used as a label on a bottle of Valiant Wine. These private label wines can be adhered to your choice of merlot, chardonnay, and blush wine.

Enjoy the country prairie setting and sip the delightful wines of Wilde Prairie Vineyard. Festivities begin Friday evening with Anndell Wubben, a henna Tattoo artist, and Swamp Daddy’s Cajun food from 6-9pm. Saturday the artist line up is quite extensive with various specialized artists displaying their work. From noon to 6pm Boxcar Beef & Dogs will be available for Festival goers.

It’s Schadé’s 15th Anniversary! This year will be a year to celebrate more than ever! Schadé grapes from recent harvest are stomped with glee in their large barrel vat by guests and wine enthusiasts. LIVE music, freshly pressed juice & samples of wine make for a wonderful winery experience. Schadé’s exclusive 15th Anniversary Signature Red will be available for tasting! Only $5 per vehicle – lunch items available from 11am – 1pm. Event begins at 10am and can be enjoyed until 5pm.

Grape Stomp Festival
With the Wind Vineyard & Winery, Rosholt
Grab your partner and register for the Grape Stomp Competition at the Grape Stomp Festival at With the Wind Winery. The cost for solo stomping is $15, or $30 as a team. Space is limited to participate so quickly contact With the Wind Winery to reserve a spot.
Saturday the day’s events begin at 11am with the opening of the Wine Tasting Room. Buy a glass, a bottle or a case to last the day. 1pm the Grape Stomping Competitions begin “Rain or Shine!” The winning team takes home a case of With the Wind Vineyard & Winery Wine. 12noon is the Merlot Release Party – taste and enjoy this sassy NEW wine! All day food, vendors, and demos will be going on. All day – 5:30pm the Wine & Grape Costume Contest will be going on – compete for the “People’s Choice Costume Prize”. 6pm The Loose Ties String Band will begin performing! Admission is $5 per person on Saturday.
Sunday beginning at 1pm the Tasting room opens. Vendors, & Food will be available 1pm – 6pm. All day Vineyard games will be available with a family friendly atmosphere. 5pm Huckleberry Concert - a rock country duo performance. FREE admission Sunday.

It’s ok, Wine & Canvas is led by an artist who helps you create a masterpiece. Popular vendors such as: I love Meg Designs, Hattie’s Pastime, and “Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without" Boyd K Paelea. Fun begins at noon and commences at 6pm.

Strawbale Winery invites you to come hang out and relax out in their country setting complete with kittens and chickens. Family friendly venue with lawn games available: bean bags, bocci ball, corn hole, and more. The winery’s Pumpkin catapult is always a lot of fun for everyone. Paint a pumpkin then launch it out into the sky, or take it with you. LIVE music, and great local vendors will pair well with any wine. Come for a Fall Festival of fun and leave with a chocolate dipped bottle – they’re amazing!
