Frosty Frolics Weekend

A weekend full of fun including tubing at Great Bear, Ice Fishing Frenzy, 5K/10K, Fatbike Ride, and a Snowshoe Tour, and more frosty fun throughout Sioux Falls!

Locations and times for Free Ice Skate Rental at all outdoor ice rinks are:

• Friday: 4 to 9 p.m. 
• Saturday: 1 to 9 p.m. 
• Sunday: 1 to 8 p.m.

Ice Fishing Frenzy:

Partnering with The Outdoor Campus. Ice fishing poles will be loaned out on a first-come, first-served basis, you are welcome to bring your own. All ages welcome. A S.D. fishing license is required for ages 16 and older. FREE. Register online by 5 p.m. on December 28.

Snowshoe Stroll:

Staying healthy and fi t during the snowy winter months can be a challenge, so why not try a sport that can burn up to 1,000 caloriesper hour? Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation is partnering with The Outdoor Campus and the Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum to offer a snowshoeing activity that will teach you the fundaments of the sport and allow you to spend time outdoors in the winter. Snowshoes will be available on a fi rst-come, first-served basis. Free. No registration requirede

Fatbike Ride:

Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation in partnership with Falls Area Singletrack (FAST) invites you to bring your bike and meet at the Tomar Park parking lot. We will ride to Falls Park, weather permitting. FAST will provide a frosty frozen treat at the end of the ride.
